A semi-skanky old man’s pub in the Haymarket district has been given a snooty makeover. Now they serve mini-burgers and have karaoke nights on Wednesdays. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing. The romance of a dive can be short lived, while a place that girls actually like to go is forever.If you want a nice drink and an even nicer view, head on up to the second floor, which offers fabulous views of Haymarket Square. If that idea bores you, just hold on till 10 and the DJ will put the needle on the record.
