Financial district grille by day, Latin hotspot at night. Known to its day time lunchers and after work carousers as the High Street Grille, Latin dancers and hip hop cronies know this place as the High Bar (referring to the street, not the state of mind). The place transforms itself well at night, thus the name change is certainly in order. Great spot to hear DJs you usually have to hunt to find and live performances away from the norm. There are few truly good Latin nights in Boston, especially after the closing of Sophia’s. High Bar has answered the call well and the crowd of sexy singles and couples that turns out certainly echoes that sentiment.
